• Guest Speaker -  Nanson Lai

Born and raised in Malaysia, Nanson Lai moved to Taipei in 2017 for seminary training at CRTS. He graduated just recently in May 2023. Since 2018, he has been serving as an intern pastor at FPC, but he is specifically serving at SanChong New Blessing Church this summer. Nanson enjoys movies, conversations, and diverse cuisines - so feel free to chat with him or invite him for a meal (but please, no coriander)! Recently, Nanson married Flora Chee, and both of them have taken up the new hobby of scuba diving.

• Summer Schedule: Due to Pastor Peter Kim’s vacation schedule, we will be inviting guests speakers to deliver God’s Word. Our guest speakers include Nanson Lai and Peter Brown. 

• Online Prayer Meeting – Tuesdays, 7:30-8:00pm: Join us each Tuesday evening for our kingdom-centered prayer meeting, The Engine Room. Use this link to join: http://tiny.cc/fpcprayer. All are welcome.

• Communion Sunday - 7/16: We will hold our monthly celebration of the Lord’s Supper on 7/16. Please prepare your hearts for this intimate act of recognition of our dependence on our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Newcomer’s Luncheon - 7/16, 12:45-14:00: If you are new to FPC in the last two months, come join us for food and fellowship. It is a great way to meet other new folks, and helps us get you connected to the life of the church. Lunch is on us! Meet us in the room at the end of the hallway from the sanctuary.

• Share Your Food- 7/30 during ASF: We want to invite people to sign up to share your culture’s food to our congregation. All you need to do is prepare a dish that can feed about 10 people and we will provide small amounts for many people to taste. • Guest Speaker - Eric Pilson  Eric grew up in Washington, D.C. and came to faith in high school through a local Presbyterian church. After a summer mission trip to Asia, he began to sense a call to serve the Chinese speaking world, and moved to Taiwan in 2007 for a 6-month internship with Mission to the World (MTW). There, Eric met his wife, Annie, and they were married in 2009. They have served in Taiwan full-time since 2013 and most recently moved to Wanhua District, Taipei City in the hopes of planting a new, gospel-centered church. They have three daughters Evelyn Grace, Madelyn Hope, and Jocelyn Rose.
