• Communion Sunday - TODAY: We will hold our monthly celebration of the Lord’s Supper today. Please prepare your hearts for this intimate act of recognition of our dependence on our Lord Jesus Christ.
• Pray for FPC’s Short-term Mission Team: Our team of 6 will be leaving for the Philippines from Feb 11-18. On Feb 11, we will have a special commissioning program for this team. Please pray for them that they may boldly share God’s truth in that place. Please also pray for safety, health, and strength for each day.
• No In-person Prayer Meeting on 2/13: Due to the fact that many people will be away during the Chinese New Year holiday we will cancel our in-person prayer meeting for February.
• Newcomer’s Luncheon - 2/25, 12:45-14:00: If you are new to FPC in the last two months, come join us for food and fellowship. It is a great way to meet other new folks, and helps us get you connected to the life of the church. Lunch is on us! Meet us in the room at the end of the hallway from the sanctuary.
“I know that charity covereth a multitude of sins; but it does not call evil good, because a good man has done it; it does not excuse inconsistencies, because the inconsistent brother has a high name and a fervent spirit; crookedness and worldliness are still crookedness and worldliness, though exhibited in one who seems to have reached no common height of attainment."
–C. H. Spurgeon
