• Sunday School Class: Elder Alan Fiol’s class on the Westminster Shorter Catechism will resume Sunday, Oct. 20th.
• Leader Nominations: We will be receiving nominations on behalf of the Session from Oct. 13th to Oct. 27th. The nominations are for men (only) as elders, or men and women who will engage in diaconal work. Please visit the church office for details.
• Baptism Class – October 20, 2:30-3:30pm: For those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ but have not been baptized, or just anyone wanting to know more about baptism, we will be holding a baptism class on Oct. 20th, 2:30-3:30pm, in room 802 of the building at 261 Roosevelt Rd., Sec. 3. Register at the Newcomer Welcome table in the fellowship hall.
• Youth Outing – Saturday, October 26: All FPC teens (and their friends!) are invited to a day at the Taipei Zoo. Lunch will be provided by the church. Required permission slips are available in the Sunday youth service and at the Newcomer Welcome table in the fellowship hall..
• Newcomers Welcome Lunch – November 3, 1:15pm-2:45pm: If you are new to FPC in the last two months, come join us for food and fellowship. It is a great way to meet other newcomers and helps us get you connected to the life of the church. You can register at the Newcomer Welcome table in the fellowship hall, or simply meet up with us in the lobby of the church building at 1:00pm on the 3rd and we will walk over to the location together (Room 801 of 261 Roosevelt Road, Section 3).
• Church Membership Class – New Format – 4 Sundays Each Month: Our church membership classes are being presented in a new, hour-long format over four Sundays. We will meet from 1:15 to 2:15pm in room 401 for the first class, then in room 402 for the next three. This schedule will be repeated again in November. Participation is open to all and does not obligate you to become a member. However, those seeking membership must attend all four classes (or make it up the following month). Sign up at the Newcomer Welcome table in the fellowship hall.
• Youth Group Weekly Gatherings - Fridays, 6:30-9:30pm: Our youth ministry provides a time of worship, Bible study, fellowship, and fun. We meet every Friday, 6:30-9:30pm, at 261 Roosevelt Road, 6th floor.
• Spotlight on Service: Did you know that each Sunday Church Service at FPC takes an average of 28 individual acts of service? We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 65 individuals who served FPC during a Sunday Service or special event in September.
