Summer Sundays from 1:15 to 2:15
During this sizzling summer season, we want to provide an opportunity to consider what the Bible teaches about some hot topics. Martin Luther, the great leader of the Reformation, was famous for his Table Talks. He would gather with friends and students and take up any question and discuss the Bible’s relevance to the subject.
Tim Keller is a modern, reformed defender of the faith who is excellent at applying the Bible to the most pressing questions of life. In some of these hot summer Sundays, you are invited to get your lunch and join us in Room 501 for this practical theology course in which we will take up a number of hot topics relevant to all of our lives. We will eat together and listen to a 30 minute talk by Tim Keller and discuss. Here is the schedule of talks and topics:
- Sunday, July 19 – A Theology of Singleness
- Sunday, July 26 – An Identity That Can Handle Success and Failure
- Sunday, August 2 – How To Change Deeply
- Sunday, August 9 – Sex and the Romantic Solution
- Sunday, August 16 – How We Become Believers
